Our subconscious mind has a 90% impact on our lives. Our ordinary daily consciousness influences only 10%. So what we are mostly unaware of determines how we live our lives.
Isn't that curious?
Struggling
When we feel stuck in certain areas of our lives, we try to fix things on a conscious level. But if a subconscious sabotage program is running the show, it's extremely difficult to get the results we want. Usually, we fall back to the old level.
Most people don't know this.
What sabotage programs are like
One of the ways to recognize a sabotage program in the subconscious is by noticing repetitions. Situations occur in another variation, or stay the same whatever we do.
- "I'm never lucky in finding new customers."
- "For the third time, I chose the wrong partner."
- "It is hard to say no."
- "No matter what I do, I always end up in debt."
- "When I get close at my ideal weight on a diet, I start eating pizza."
- "I just cannot get rid of this stress."
- "I managed to be late for that crucial meeting. So I sabotaged myself again."
- "I never get the right words out of my mouth."
The same types of problems recur. This is not because we consciously intend or desire to repeat them. Our subconscious mind is programmed to create our life dramas.
Willpower
With conscious focus and effort, you can feel better and be in control of a situation for a while. But it's not all about willpower and being clever. Your subconscious mind usually takes over. Buried memories, emotions, and beliefs keep activating problematic habits, reactions, or thoughts. This cycle of unresolved emotions and beliefs and the resulting interference in your life can be quite frustrating. It can lead to feelings of guilt, shame, and hopelessness.
Based on experiences
Most of us have a mixture of supportive and sabotaging programs in our subconscious minds. These have been developed based on all our experiences and all the information that has reached us. This is an ongoing process from the moment we are born.
Our roots
Experiences at a young age (before the age of seven) have the greatest impact on our lives. For instance, a child receives messages such as, "You are stupid" and believes them. As a result, in adulthood, his subconscious mind will create experiences to prove this statement. He wil make mistakes and be afraid to learn new things. So his success is very limited, and then he wonders: "What's wrong with me?"
"Money doesn't grow on trees."
"Only nice girls get the right guy."
"Love is hard to find."
"Why can't you be like your sister?"
"You have to follow the rules like everyone else."
"It's your fault that I'm unhappy."
"You're too stubborn."
At a young age, the mind has hardly any filter. Such remarks become part of our blockages because our subconscious mind still believes all this rubbish. And when we have experiences like being punished, being abused, or seeing people fighting, they also become part of our subconscious programs.
It's not your fault if things don't go well, even if you try.
Reprogram
The good news is that you can reprogram your subconscious mind very quickly.
Imagine how different your life can be!
